Amidst Disasters Around the World, Top Scientists Declare Links Between Extreme Weather and Climate Change

Great article!

Andy Lee Robinson said it all-too-well — “El Nino + Climate Change = El Diablo.”

And as the Washington Post so cogently notes — the world is now experiencing a rash of Freakish Weather from the North Pole to South America. It’s what appears to be happening as these two major record weather makers fire off simultaneously. A grim tally that includes the highest river levels ever seen in Missouri, the worst floods England has seen since the Middle Ages, the first time the North Pole has seen significantly above freezing temperatures during Winter in modern record keeping, city and region-crippling droughts spanning Central and South America, and seemingly everywhere, but especially in the North Atlantic where Greenland melt outflow has backed up the Gulf Stream, storms that seem to laugh in the face of our weather history.

  1. In my opinion, these are not top scientist, why, because they don’t understand the primal/formative function operating systems of the earth. If we are to truly understand extreme weather/climate change, of which are two ways of discribing a single phnonoma, than we need to study the Natural Sciences, when one has done so the obvious explanation to extreme weather/climate change is the global destruction of the earths ancient forest, living things such as the earth die without lungs…..

    • Is this not what the article is saying? Hint, as said in the first few sentences of the post: “the world is now experiencing a rash of Freakish Weather from the North Pole to South America. It’s what appears to be happening as these two major record weather makers fire off simultaneously.”…. Myself, I am all about educating people on the many issues that face the destruction of our planet. I am not into debating who is wrong or smarter. Instead, let us conserve our energy and use it for good.

      • Hi, I realize the way I wrote my comments were a little unclear. Respectfully, we are never going to get anywhere with the issues if all we know are the issues, most important part of education is understand how and why something became an issue, as well how are we going to correct the issue. This is my problem with what they call top scientist, they do not have a deep understanding for the formative biological process that created the earth, they are not willing to connect the obvious dots, destruction of the earths ancient forest=Climate Change, how are we going to go about replacing the earths lungs? Do future generations have any hope of surviving/existing here on earth? What are we going to do about the situation?

      • Your comment were not unclear. I would rather have more solutions not add to the problems. The situation of our earth is very complex for there are numerous reasons why it is in this state. Respectfully, all I was saying is that barking up my tree will not help the situation but it will hinder.
